Future of Windows Phone in Canada

Just wondering if any windows phone users can tell me why we cannot get devices like the Lumia 930, Lumia 1520 in Canada?Any idea if the HTC One M8 will be available at any point? Is the lack of selection due to carrier exclusivity in the United States that is effecting us here? I have another year before I'm able to upgrade so I have some time left, but the future does not look promising for windows phone in Canada when the only flagship device that is available is the Lumia 1020. The Lumia 930 and 1520 are great flagship phones according to a lot of reviews I've been reading, but are unavailable on any of the big 3 Canadian Carriers.

Apart from the 630 I read that the 830 will be coming to Canada and seeing how htc is pretty much saying the m8 can be run with android and windows I think it'll eventually move to Canada but for the rest your guess is as good as mine
