Fuze - Suggestions on "Twitter" client?

All,

There seems to be a lot many clients for Twitter Windows mobile. Can anyone tell which one's the popular/better client?

Any preferences/expert opinions on tweeting will be appreciated.

Switch to AT&T?

Allyson13 - Looks like you switched from Verizon to AT&T. I would be really interested to know how you like the service of AT&T compared to Verizon (I've been a ATT guy since 4 yrs).

But consumer reports list Verizon as the best. So was just curious.

Also I will be switching to try the PocketTweet after trying the TinyTwitter for some time and compare.

I was just about to check out pockettwit

...what I really want is a twitter client that will get pushed alerts and/or low battery life at a half hour interval check. BUT a NEED is that it alert me for @ and d messages.

PockeTwit does the @ and D very well. Tap on a friend's message, then slide the screen to the left. Every individual user option you can use in Twitter is there.

Sliding the screen to the right gives you "global" options.

You can set time to check as low as you want, down to a minute. I tried half hour and it hits the battery pretty hard. I'm usually fine with an hour.

Just trying to confirm - Y'all keep the client running the whole day on the cell (and that's why talking @ battery life?).

Yeah i did find issue with TinyTweet where I have to hit update every time I open it to check the latest ones. I log in on tinytweet as needed basis.

PockeTwit - How do i Tweet?

PockeTwit is the best.

Started using PockeTwit, but unable to figure how do I tweet? It generally replies to the messages of the selected tweet. If I want to add a new tweet how do i do that?

I tried to browse for help on the link you provided, couldn't find relevant solution.

Scroll screen to the right and there is an option to "update status".

Not the most intuitive menu option, but I get it. Took me a while too.

AT&T versus Verizon

I was with Verizon for almost 10 years (after they Borged my local carrier in Seattle), I really had no complaints with the customer service or the service.

The reason why I changed to AT&T was simple. All three phones were finally out of contract. I also work for AT&T Mobility and get a nice, fat discount on my consumer account.

But honestly, the biggest reason for the switch was the lack of WinMo phones that I wanted that Verizon offered. I was holding out for the 800w, but when that wasn't forthcoming, I figured it was time to switch.

As for network differences, I really don't detect anything major except the fact that I get a better cell signal in our house with AT&T.

Thanks, hat sure does answer why you switched to AT&T. I've been a AT&T loyal too and feels good to get positive review @ the service. I have had some experiences of call dropping or poor signal.
I was thinking of switching the providers while renewing the contract, but my wife went for iPhone and it was the best idea to keep same carrier as we get free calls with same carrier :)

As for dropped calls, anytime you have a dropped call, cycle your phone (ie, turn it off for 5 seconds, turn it back down again). Y'see, the phone is trying to connect with the tower you last used when you last cycled your phone.

By, cycling the phone again, you're re-doing the tower list with the closest tower. You might find that most of your problems go away.

Also, if you've put your sim card in another phone, you'll cause a mis-match between what our billing system has and your phone imei number.

I work for Receivables Management (which is part of Customer Care), so I get these kinds of questions all the time.
