Galaxy Gear 1(Tizen), with windows phone 8.1?

Is there anyway to get a 8.1 windows phone to work with the Gear 1 thats running Tizen update?

No notifications will work but calls will work. So it'll basically be a bluetooth headset.

You just have to get pass the initial setup screen.

Sorry for the late reply. Two options if the Gear runs android you can put a custom rom on it to remove the setup screen. The other option is just to use a compatible phone to get pass the screen.

I got past the setup screen with a compatible Samsung phone. How do I connect it with my Windows 8s phone? Every time I try to pair it, it says the Samsung Galaxy Gear has to be reformat...and then I start from square 1.
