GDR2 Feature to set a lens to open with camera button not working?

I have GDR2 without Amber (HTC 8X) and have multiple lenses including Nokia pro cam installed (Using proxy glitch). However, I can't set any of these lenses as my primary one that opens with the camera button. Why? The only option I have is the default camera app.

Photos and Cameras setting with Amber lets you define a default camera app. It's not a lens per s? in this sense..

I think the point being made, is that the generic GDR 2 Update promises that you can set your favourite lens to open when opening the camera app with the camera button - the option is within the camera settings, but you are not able to choose a lens (as one might think you should do). Mentioning of amber in the OP is a red herring..

I think the option is there, its up to the devs to allow their app to be used. I'm only assuming.
