I just got a Bell Canada ATIV S to replace my busted Lumia 920, and it looks like GDR2 is available for it. After the upgrade, I still can't see the Podcasts option in the store. I know the feature exists in Canada, since I've seen it on a Telus 520, so I'm not sure if there's something else I'm missing. OS version shows at 8.0.10327.77, firmware 2212.13.6.1, hw rev 15.3.1.0.

No, but I thought that Podcast support for non-US phones was supposed to be one of the features that GDR2 enabled.

Hi,

I live in Germany and i can choose "Podcast" in my XBOX Music App. I don't know if it was already there before i did the update...

(There is noting into it, since i don't follow to any potcasts, they don't show up in the store, so it is limited to the USA i think.)

I have Podcasts on my Bell ATIV S. I also did a hard reset in order to get Data Sense as well. Did you do the hard reset yet?

Even though lack of podcast support is disappointing, the app Podcast Lounge is fantastic.

I don't want to have to update myself. On my Nexus 4 I use Pocketcast that will automatically download new episodes without me opening the app.

Podcast Lounge can now download new episodes with app closed as long as you are connected to Wifi and charging ("more than 90% charge). Not ideal, but good if you are charging your phone overnight.
