GDR3 Developer Preview

Hello,

I just wanted to know if gdr3 developer preview will void my warranty. I checked in Support - - Nokia - India after updating to the developers preview and it says it is still under warrranty . In case I have to send my phone to service ,will Nokia care be able to flash firmware since the phone is on GDR3 and it hasnt been officially out yet ?

I replaced my phone under warranty in the Microsoft Store a couple weeks ago, with GDR3 on it.

To give this issue some explanation, Microsoft is who put in the clause that it may void your warranty (emphasis mine). Keep in mind that Microsoft is not a manufacturer or phones (yet) so it is not a party to any of the warranties on any of our phones. This is just a case of there being far too many lawyers in America who have nothing better to do. Microsoft put that clause in there to cover their hind ends, since if an OEM decided not to honor a warranty and use GDR3 as an excuse, you couldn't turn around and sue Microsoft.

Of course there is the chance that an OEM could decide not to honor a warranty for this reason, but I don't see it happening, and my own experience seems to give credence to my view.
