I think only the future devices would have 1080p display. It could be hardware limitation of current devices. Personally I don't want 1080p with my L920. It could drain the battery faster.

Lumia 920 has a maximum resolution of 1280x768p and that's something that can't be changed via an update. It's a hardware thing.

GDR3 will only bring support for future devices with that resolution.

Well, that would be a nice addition to users, which have 720p, higher and even WVGA resolutions, so we would not be excluded or shortened at this featire, when the 1520 will have 3 medium tiles in a row option.. Wouldn't it be?

You should have charged him 50 and told him you downloaded it. He would have never known the difference...
