What is 8.1 GDR1, Is it only for developers?? Is it different from cyan??

Gdr1 is the first update to wp8.1. Currently I believe it is only available to those involved in the developer preview but should be released to everyone else starting end of month/early September. It adds features and abilities to the os. It adds live folders, basically you can create a folder by dropping one live tile into another then name it. The cool thing is their live tiles still work and each is resizable within the folder. It adds Bluetooth internet sharing. Also adds support for new screen sizes.

Does cyan & WP8.1 are one and same or different?? I am new to this forum, plz explain anyone. And what is that WP8.1 UPDATE 1 & WP8.1 GDR1, Are they available for everyone or only for developers???

Wp8.1 is the os. Cyan is the firmware for the phone hardware to go with it. Update 1 is gdr1.
