The latest W10 for phone preview release requires phones be upgraded only with the default language, region, etc in use. Otherwise Cortana will not work.
I've had my 1520.3 so long I don't even remember what the default language, region, etc are. Is there a way to find out what they are (other than doing a hard reset, since that would mean reinstalling a lot of apps manually).
Problem 2: even if I find out what the defaults were and change them back, I'm not so sure I could perform the update on a phone that doesn't speak a language I know.
