I don't know but lately I am getting bored of Windows Phone... Whenever I visit tech sites such as GSMArena, The Verge and PhoneArena (pls don't judge me lol) all of them are talking about the newest flagship from that and this OEM, that it is a beast, that this is Android's best phone yet bla bla bla.

If we are to summarize...
Apple has the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus...
Android has the new Galaxy Note 4, Nexus 6, Moto X 2014...
Blackberry has the new Passport...
...and Windows Phone has what? Ummm... The Lumia 930. And that's it.

Now pls don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with the 930. It is actually a nice device. But imo there is just nothing special about it that makes you consider WP from the other OSes. It has no innovative features unlike the Lumia 920 or 1020...

I really hope that Microsoft would announce a monster Lumia next year... Coz all of us WP fans deserve it after months of waiting...

BTW sorry for my English, I'm not that good in this language LOL

I didn't get what you mean by this? You want better CPU, more RAM, better screen, more WP devices? I'm happy with Lumia 930 and I'll stay with it.

Don't let all of the new "flagships" from the other OS sites get you down. Pick a WP that you like and stop comparing as long as your device meets your needs. Trust me, no matter which platform that you're on there is always going to be the "Next best thing".

From your post:

I own the 1520 and I happen to think that everyone that buys a WP is nice, new and special. It takes a lot of smarts to bypass the glitz of other phones and go for the best of them all: What ever windows phone you like. So, think of yourself as special since you bought a WP.

It is frustrating that Microsoft has chosen to not release a high end phone lately and all of the tech sites are fawning over the latest and greatest from Android and Apple. But, at least for me, that isn't drawing me into other phones, I still really like my Windows Phone.

You read the verge? Oh you poor soul :P

But ya Windows Phone aren't getting pumped out like Android and Apple. I suppose it'll take time since Microsoft needs to organize and start developing newer Windows Phone. (Usually takes months to reorganize a company after purchasing a huge one like Nokia Devices)

Getting bored? I get bored of any phone on the first day itself. There's no OS in this world who could change that. Or lets put it this way, even if I change my phone daily, I'll still get bored of every phone.
Sent from whichever device I happen to be using today.

Microsoft just acquired Nokia, so they've only started designing their first original phones. It usually takes at least 12 months to produce a phone from scratch. I'm sure Microsoft will start releasing exciting stuff at around summer 2015.

Thank you guys for the posts! Maybe I just lost my patience lately because I've been waiting for a monster Lumia for how many months already. If only Microsoft didn't cancel the McLaren... Oh well! At least there is something to look forward to - Windows 10 on smartphones!

I am still trying hard to make my brain understand that Android does not suck! But its not ready to accept the false statement, anyways😄

Windows phone bores and sucks! I only got a bit better after upgrading to cyan and getting background wallpapers but after then am sick and tired of black and white, lack of features in apps and OS limitations! Am receiving a Samsung s4 this December and over my dead body I will never return to wp!
I hope you realize that about the time you get that GS4, it'll be pretty outdated hardware wise. Knowing how laggy Android can be, you probably not gonna enjoy it. Unless of course Lollipop fixes all of those issues.

Specs only really matter if your OS is a gas guzzler, ie. current and older versions of Android (no info on Lollipop). WP has proven that an efficient OS can run buttery smooth on its many low and mid range devices.

To expand further on the OP, it shouldn't just be the lack of high end devices that bore and/or frustrate anyone with WP. It should be the lack of OS features and Microsoft's glacial speed to implement them.
