Getting media content now ??

Hello & Thanks ,
I have a txt message that says:
"Getting media content now (32kb)"

But it never comes .
What do I have to do to look at this content ?
Is it a picture ?

How are your APN (and MMS) settings? Does your 640 support WiFi calling? Has this issue happened since you started using this phone or has it happened before?

Those are some things that can cause this. I used to have a similar issue.

Your APN settings are your settings for cellular data. MMS is basically a text message with either a picture or video. If either of those are not right, things wouldn't work on your phone as they should.

Go to settings->cellular + sim and tap SIM under sim settings to see if you have an internet apn and a MMS apn set up.

WiFi calling is built into the firmware for some Lumias. Skype isn't needed for Wifi calling.

wifi calling means if you are away from a cell tower (no signal) but you are connected to wifi, then your phone will work just as if you were connected to tmobile cell tower (make and receive calls)

this feature is so great when out of the country. on a cruise in south america recently i was able to connect to wifi at a starbucks and make phone calls. internet is universal, so its just like you are still in the states making a phone call. no roaming or anything

by default the 640 is set with wifi calling on and set to prefer wifi.(this causes problems with some things) lots of people turn off the feature, personally i left it turned on, but changed it to prefer cellular. and that fixed everything.
