Gigapixel ArtZoom by Microsoft Research. Very cool stuff

I found this very impressive project Microsoft Research is doing and when saw the back story on this, I was impressed as I hope you will be too. This is called the Gigapixel Artzoom Project. In short, it is photography through very high powered tripod mounted cameras snapping images around Seattle of artists doing what artists do on the streets around Seattle, Washington. You can pan and zoom around this gigapixel panorama and spot those artists performing. Really cool stuff. Kinda artsy but cool.
