It doesnt work anymore?? Suddenly my glance is black and i cant set an image for it (i dont want it to be the same as lockscreen)

Personally I found it some what hit and miss with the insider builds.

Yep, installed but failed to inizialize error :/ until this morning it worked, then i upgraded glance...

How can you install it?This app is not available for Wp8.1 users to download since months.Is it available in W10m TP?

Glance background is now baked into the WM10 glance settings. It has been like that for a while now on 8.1 too. To get the WM10 version look for the sticky [APPS] in the WM10 threads.

We can't select an custom image for glance background,the app under settings only allows to assign lock screen photo as glance background.

Its strange bcuz it worked until yesterday, i am missing it its almost the only unique feature wp had

The app is pretty much dead so I guess most of us are out of options.

Have you tried this old trick of waiting at least two minutes and the store lets you download the app.I'm not sure but I heard that somewhere.Initially it will show that the app is unavailable but after some time it will let you download the app.

Anyway it stopped working from last glance update, maybe it will work with next update..

I actually have the app, and for some reason, when I open Glance Background, it gives me "!Failed to initialize Glance" then closes each time.

If someone can find some work around, that'd be awesome.

Strange,you were able to install the app in a new flagship phone with latest OS whereas other users can't even download the app?

Yeah, was one of the first apps I downloaded.
