Glance Case (Homemade) - I'm amazed this idea hasn't gone to market for WP yet!

With all the craze over LG/Samsung cases that display quick, glanceable information - I was amazed to find that the smartphone OS that has such a popular glance feature has no cases to prioritize that. So I got myself a Poetic FlipBook Case for my Lumia 1020 and went to town; making both a opening for glanceable information and an opening at the top so that taking it out of my pocket would trigger it without me actually opening the flap. Even considering taking it a step further and using a Spigen magnetic clip to give it a secure snap whenever it's closed.

Whaddya think?

You'll have to excuse the burns and other imperfections in craftsmanship - this was entirely made by hand and I used a lighter to even out the trimmings.

Did you put plastic over it to protect it? Because this is quite nice.
