Glance problem

I didn't find anything on it so I am posting now. If there is one and I missed it, I apologize. Anyways, it's a small issue with the Glance Screen. I have a Lumia 920 and the glance screen works good, but a little too good. I noticed that when I get the notification that is associated with my Facebook or outlook i.e. upcoming birthday, it shows up as scheduled. The problem is, after the day of their birthday, it doesn't go away. According to my phone, it's their birthday the following day again. It stays there until I powercycle my phone off then back on. It is gone after that. But once another birthday comes around, it does the same thing again. Is it an issue with 8.1DP on 920's or do I maybe have to re-install just the Glance app again, if it's even possible. If not, I can always wait for the official updates and all.
