I have a Dual Sim Lumia 950 and I have added my GMail account to the phone for contacts and Calendar. The issue I have is that even though all my contacts are showing up in the People app none of the Birthdays are. They show up in my Lumia 928, Lumia 920, and Lumia 822 so it is either a Windows Mobile 10 issue or there is a setting that I am missing. Has anyone run into this issue and maybe have a solution? I contacted Microsoft and all they could say is it might be a defective hardware and that I would have to send it in to them. They could not tell me if this was actually the case or not. So I decided to reach out here and see what help anyone could offer. Thank you in advance.

If you go into the Calendar app and click the hamburger button, in the upper left, does it list a "Birthdays" calendar under your Google account? If so, is it checked?

I did not even see the Hamburger menu. Still not used to settings being in 2 different places. I just checked it and there is not even an option listed "Birthdays" in the calendar's hamburger menu

I'm not sure what to say, it is there for me on my Gmail account. I don't know if there is a Gmail setting that could prevent it from showing up...

Have you tried removing and re-adding your account?

Are you running the most current Outook Mail + Calendar version? (Are you enrolled on Insider on this phone?)

Maybe it is the insider program. I have tried removing and adding it and that didn't help. As far as updates goes the store is not showing any new updates for the app. Thank you very much for trying to help me

Hi,
I just stumbled upon this topic because I can't see my gmail birthday calendar in outlook calendar on my Lumia 640 Win Phone 10 preview, too.
The calendar is just missing there, I can't select it at all...

Did you already find a solution for this?

Just a guess based on my researches:
As far as I found out the gmail birthday calendar is automatically created by google basing on the dates of birth in your gmail contacts.
Google stopped supporting Google Sync on new devices a few month (years?) ago, which seemed to support this special kind of calendar.
Now you have to use CardDAV which doesn't seem to support it any more.

I just found a calendar app that is supporting this kind of calendar: "One Calendar".
It is neither pretty nor fast, but it finally shows the birthdays of my gmail contacts ;-)
Native support in outlook calendar would be great though!

Regards,
Chris
