Going back to 8.0

I used to have a lot of issues (battery, screen etc) ... This weekend I made a flash (NSU) on my Lumia 920, back to 8.0, with no backup and a clean installation of Black firmware I updated to 8.1 again, and now it's perfect

Have a great battery life, Whatsapp notification working and Facebook/Messenger as well.

No complains anymore!

Well tomorrow im getting my phone back from repairs and i will wait till nokia releases the official software with cyan update. My HTC8X has seriously no problems at all with 8.1 so i will keep using both

btw, what kinda of problems you had? Hopefully getting my 920 back today and don't know if i should put 8.1 on it :/

Random draining battery issues, notification problems with almost all my apps (Whats App, Facebook, viber etc), after installing on a clean version of 8.0 (without backup), it's pretty damn good

I think that most of the problems that people have are from restoring their phone after they installed 8.1, battery sense and Cortana tile pined on the start screen. I have 5 phones all with 8.1 and they all have better battery, no problems(touch wood) and are faster/smoother than on 8.0

Hallo everyone. Since i update my phone to 8.1 the screen rotation doesn't work.(i try everything soft reset,hard reset,lock unlock rotation).Also the games app,nokia camera and many more apps crushing every time.Should i go back to 8.0? thanks

Are you sure you haven't locked the screen rotation? When you installed 8.1 did you either reset your phone or restore your settings from a backup from 8.0

If you didn't do the first then do it and don't restore your settings and if you did the second then do the first.

Well got my phone back yesterday, installed 8.1 and than my glance doesnt work (have latest version). I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but nothing.
