I need to upgrade my S5 mini, i was thinking maybe 640XL or something, what is better??, maybe bigger screen is 10 better now or should i wait??

there is a collective answer to this, 640xl is a great choice considering the screen size, but you might loose on performance as windows 10 is yet to be fully optimized in my opinion. Though you wont find lags and freezes but in comparison to lumia 950/xl yes there is some performance drop.
So if your budget allows you to own a lumia 950 / xl i believe that will be great , microsoft has already slashed the prices of both these devices upto half the original.

Great point. Coming from an app-centric OS like Android you want to make sure you won't be missing anything you need.

Coming from the S5 mini any XL will seem huge, so I would recommend checking one out in a store carefully to make sure you want something that big. I own a 640 (regular size) and think it is a tremendous phone for the money, but I'm not really certain it is an upgrade over the S5 mini.

Just go to the 640XL forums. Lots of people have been debating whether or not they should get the phone over there, and most that does have found it to be very good. But as usual, you should do a research on your own to determine if the phone suits your needs or not.

Me too. Its easily the best Lumia. Had 1020, 930, 950xl and now 640XL. It's so much better than the other Lumias
