Gold Surface Pen - why gray end??

Just a minor rant.

Just bought the Gold Surface Pen. Shocked that the beautiful pen has the gray end still. It's a sharp contrast with the beautiful gold shaft. Well, at least now I have a set of tips for my pens.

I debated about getting the blue pen. And that rightfully is entirely blue. Not 80% blue and 20% gray.
