Google Hangouts vs. Zoom. What data do they collect and sell?

I think Windows Central could do a service to the community by giving your view on the data collect and or data selling practices of Google Hangouts and Zoom.

That review Devine did on Google Hangouts vs Zoom didn't say a word.

As I understand it, in their Ts&Cs, Zoom says they collect and share data with third parties. And Google, well Google is a advertising company.

Has anybody looked into it?

I think this request would be better sent as an email to the WC staff. All online meeting tools collect or share information in some way or another. Some just do it worse than others. Zoom is getting bad press right now because hackers can just join unsecure meetings and do nasty things once they have joined the meeting without permission.
