Google Image Search

Hi,
Someone wrote in forums he could use Google Image search in Edge on his 640.....
HOW?

I knew that's was blocked by Google since 8.0 on mobiles, even using classic version

Once upon a time there was an app, made not by google...

It's fairly simple.

1) Open the web page of search engine of your preference in Microsoft Edge (say Google)
2) Hit '...' and select "settings"
3) Advanced button
4) "Change search engine" button
5) You should see "Google" listed as a discovered search engine.
6) Boom <drops mike>

Ehm ... -_- that's I know well, I was talking about Google IMAGE search...

Just tap on the "image" tab in the search results. Does the same thing.

Maybe I cannot explain well... Google Image search, that is search by image, not words, as Google on desktops or Androids

EDIT: Mod please change title in Search by Image, I guess it's better....

The solution is that you swap to "classic" view and don't use mobile.

Or you add Google as a search engine and tap on the "images" tab

The end result is the same. But if I'm continuing not to understand, I'll just stop here.

Ok, that's clear I undestood bad origina 3ad.
I was looking for Google Search by Image, the reverse way: you load an image, Google gives you results, same as desktop.
And on mobile, it's blocked by Google since decades
Win10mobile Classic version of Google is little different by Droid and desktop, the right Images icon, (not the TAB Images) is missing

Ok, that's clear I undestood bad origina 3ad.
I was looking for Google Search by Image, the reverse way: you load an image, Google gives you results, same as desktop.
And on mobile, it's blocked by Google since decades
Win10mobile Classic version of Google is little different by Droid and desktop, the right Images icon, (not the TAB Images) is missing

I was going to say try in desktop mode - so does it work? Don' have a way of testing this? I know what you mean, you give google an image and it gives you results of similar images along with sites, sizes, resolutions etc

As wrote before, desktop mode on Windows phones is different from desktop on Windows pc. It loses the Images tab upper right, near the user dummy

And if I copy and paste a public url pic, it gives no results. On desktop it works

have you tried US browser? i've seen it do things I thought it couldn't

Umm, works fine on my Lumia 1520.

Edge in Desktop mode.
