Google Maps/Transit?

Hey all - just got my first windows phone (Focus Flash), and so far I am really loving it, except for one thing - the lack of a good google maps app. I used to have an S60 device, and I used the google maps app (in particular the transit directions) all the time.

So now I am trying to find a replacement - bing maps just isn't cutting it - the locations search doesn't find near as many places, and there is no transit directions option. I tried a few apps (transit, gmaps, bingle), but they just don't seem to work right. Does anyone know of any good replacements, or if google ever plans on making a version that will work with WP7 available?

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but i'm swapping from an iphone where i used transit.google.com to get bus timings ect (after ios6 dumped google maps and the built in transit function). Now i have a lumia 920 and can't find anything that works, the mobile website available on my iphone just goes to the desktop site on my lumia, the gmaps app causes the phone to crash and reboot........

Any suggestions?

Bingle also uses Google Maps, so perhaps try that?

I use gmaps, it has Google Transit.

When i open gmaps it causes my entire phone to crash and reboot.

Bingle also uses Google Maps, so perhaps try that?

Doesn't have transit unfortunately.
