Google/Microsoft Problems: Desktop YouTube Won't Allow HTML5 Playback

Found this out just now. A friend of mine sends me a video link to YouTube. Since I prefer Desktop over Mobile, I find out that it won't allow me to play videos any longer via desktop mode.
Getting sick and tired of Google's practices. Either that or Adobe just doesn't like mobile (remembers the EoL for mobile Flash back in his Android days).

It should work the YouTube clip specially when YouTube now uses HTML5, however it might have been fixed by now, it hard to tell if it google or just a general error.
