This may be old news to some but did you know that there's a new version of GoogleMaps out there?

Version 2.2.0.20? I kept loading an older version of Googlemaps that I had stored on my memory card. I didn't realize there was update until today when the version I was running alerted me to the update.

No telling when the current version came out (September of this year?) but it does look like an improvement over the old.

Now if it will only speed up the GPS fix.

Right you are. Google maps is a frequently updated progs so always go to http://www.google.com/gmm to grab the new in stead of loading a saved copy. Same for live search http://mobile.search.live.com/client/download_manual.aspx

Has street view now too, checked my house and there is my wife standing in the driveway, spooky, works pretty well on the TP. Cuz
