It is H.U.G.E. - even if Dave was to hold it, the first day, he would have said "Dis thing huge".

But such a pleasure to use a phablet. I am the one who never, ever, ever would touch a phablet and would even laugh when I see someone on a phone call using phablet. But for everything else, this WP device is a gem!

I got it instead of my spare Lumia 720 (512mb RAM, 6.7mp shooter, 3G) - sold that boy for ?90. Bought this one for ?150 off ebay. For extra ?60 - a brand new 1320 (1gb RAM, 5mp shooter, 4G) looks like a steal. Especially the forums are such a pleasure to browse!

One gripe though - I still cannot like posts using IE11 on phone or desktop :(

If you are into phablets and are using a WP device, do consider getting a cheap 1320 - it is a beautiful and powerful device for its price bracket!

Liked and thanked on my 1520.. :P

Glad you like the big screen though. Nothing else compared really.

I.... cannot handle that big of a phone.

I feel like less of a man for it...

*shifts uncomfortably in seat*

Can I still post? Please??

1320 size feels way smaller after 48h trust me! It's not huge at all after that. I thought the same. Hated phablets but they are so unisexual stuff really. Even a girl using it feels perfect because it just looks and IS powerful for that size.

The only US carrier selling the 1320 is Cricket, an AT&T MVNO. I have no idea if MVNO branded devices can be used on regular AT&T.

That's a shame. Is unlocking phones a real pain in the US? In the UK, it is super easy to get it unlocked. But we get plenty of "full unlocked" ones sold from EU. Sometimes, super cheap ones, delivered in a month or two - from Hong Kong.

Yeah, unlocked phones are a rarity here. It is so annoying. I keep hoping that as all the carriers move to LTE that the whole "Verizon devices won't run on AT&T" and vice versa (...and Sprint....and MVNO....) will be unified enough that all bands can be included and we can carry devices we like (Nokia Lumia Icon.... Samsung ATIV SE.... I want you both!!) to whatever carrier works best for us just like the vast majority of the rest of the world. Hope the same for our Canadian friends as well.

Basically, most carriers will give you an unlock code after it is active for so many months on their system. You can also buy an unlock code from 3rd parties, though I find them a tad shady for some reason. Then, some devices still won't work with some carriers because of the whole "CDMA VS. GSM" stuff and because certain bands are only associated with certain signals on certain carriers....

I need to stop and go find some Tylenol. My brain always hurts after this conversation.
