My husband bought me a 635 at Walmart from At&t but I really wanted Metro PCS Nokia Lumia 635. Should I take the at&t 635 back or should I go with 635 with metro pcs?

Not sure if the AT&T version will work on MetroPCS. Since its a T-Mobile pre-paid carrier, I would take back this one and get the T-Mobile 635.

The Nokia Lumia 635 on tmobile cost way higher then the Nokia Lumia 635 on At&t prepaid. We paid $99.00 for the Nokia Lumia 635 on At&t prepaid

Can I ask what's this about?
Why do you want to switch?
Is Metro a better cost option over AT&T or T-Mobile?

I bought a T-Mobile L635 from an online retailer for 99 bucks and I'm on the $30.00 a month unlimited data plan.

What are you wanting to do?

I heard that metropcs does family prepaid as well I went to a local store in Indiana and ask them did they have the Nokia Lumia 635 on metropcs and a sales man said that they ran out of 635 due to it being free with mail and rebate. So I decided to go to Walmart yesterday to see if they had the 635 on tmobile for $99 and the answer is no. My husband bought me the Nokia Lumia 635 on at&t pay as you go for $99. I really wanted metropcs so I ask for any suggestions because I didn't open up the package yet.

If you keep the AT&T one, go back to WalMart and buy the Straight Talk Bring Your Own Phone activation kit for $60, which includes your first month service. So it is 15 bucks for the SIM card and $45 for your normal month basically. Straight Talk plans right now offer the same "unlimited" yet metered data plans as Tmobile. Which means you get 3GB of data at full speed (my 920 gets LTE), and then they throttle you down to 2G after that, but you still have internet access. You also get unlimited talk and text. This is all for $45 a month, pay as you go.

So basically the price should be the same if not similar, but you would be on a much more robust network.

Thanks for the info. That really help.

If you still haven't changed cell phone companies yet, look into Cricket. They're currently offering $100 in a bill credit for switching one T-Mobile/MetroPCS line (so 4 lines switched will result in a $400 credit), and are offering the Nokia Lumia 635 for $50+ tax at the store along with a $50 rebate. They are also offering a 4 for $100 family plan with taxes included. It's pretty hard to beat that deal.

+1 for straight talk. for ATT, sim

For whatever reason my MMS WOULD NOT WORK until I changed IPv4v6 to IPv4
But all is well now. And I look forward to giving this phone a test this weekend. :winktongue:
