Grab the file to Bitmapimage

I have a recipes projects, I bind some images to flipview control in windows universal app. How to create event handler that will save selected image as bitmap image. It is hard to me to grab the file from DataBing and save as a storageFile.. Can you show me a few line of codes or websites tutorials.
