Just got an AT&T Lumia 1020 from USA, (I reside outside the states)

I took some random photos and I noticed if I go zooming, I can start seeing grains in the picture. Even the 2 default pictures that come with the phone, I can see grains.

What am I doing wrong?

I snapped using Nokia Pro Camera using the auto settings.

Drop the ISO compensate with lower shutter speed. DSLR 101

EDIT: Lower the ISO less grain. It means less light is being captured. To offset this lesser light you need to extend exposure with longer shutter speeds. Get the Pro Cam or Nokia Camera App, more controls. Get busy messing with the controls, watch some good YouTube vids on DSLR basics, cause you now have a serious camera ^_^

I tried to set the ISO to 100, no luck.
Minor relief but nothing breath taking, I have to take the phone outside and see.

Dude in the end its a Phone size sensor, even APS-C sized sensor wielding DSLRs have noise problems. Never zoom in 100%(its called pixel peeping and can be very disappointing on most cameras) How are the oversampled 5MP shots?

I am not educated about ISO and stuff, camera is not my area of expertise.
Let me see what I can do tomorrow if I go out with the 1020.
