green 1520 status?

Has there been any new information on the green 1520 on AT&T? I just dropped my 920 and shattered the glass. We have 5 lines and upgrades are staggered. I thought about burning one on the green 1520, use that until McLaren comes out, burn another upgrade on it and give the 1520 to my oldest and then his 920 and my fixed one to my younger two. Last I heard was around the end of June.

I was hoping to get a green 920 some time ago until I realized it was an April Fool's joke... Not saying this is.

I'm in the same boat is you. I went to an AT&T store and asked the manager. He told me that they should have them within a couple of weeks, but he wasn't 100% certain on this. I really don't want to wait a couple more weeks, bah.:devil:

I want a green also I seen somewhere the 635 is coming out July 15, so I hope the 1520 will be out July 15 also

If its a couple of weeks and you're not going to buy some thing else do you have a choice. I was trying to wait for a green one or the McLaren or WP LG G3 but my 920 fried and I needed a phone then not three days hence so I got a black 1620 at the ATT store and only had to pay 99.99 for it. I am happy.

Well the phone IS usable, just not pleasant. I think I've pulled out most of the glass shards by now. If it comes down to it then I will get a red one but I'm hoping to hear something soon

Okay, I'm starting to lose confidence that the green one is coming out. What is AT&T's remorse period? If I buy it and then return it within that period for whatever reason (like the green one is announced), do I get my upgrade back or is it gone?

It does seem to be taking them a very long time to bring out this green 1520. There is no release date or availability information either. Annoying

Just wait and be patience, the 635 or 630 whichever is for sale on tmobile, preordered on MS website, 930 is out shouldn't be to much longer for the 1520. Cause you know what'll happen you'll get another 1520 and then green will come out, then you' ll be mad you didn't wait

Wouldn't surprise me if green and orange are actually color options for the Lumia 1525 and not the 1520.

Maybe - although they did create that sustainable lumia ad a few weeks back with a 1520 in - Microsoft shows off the #SustainableLumia 1520 in green with recycled back cover | Windows Phone Central

Which is exactly what I'm afraid of. It will probably happen about two days after the remorse return period ends.

We've already missed Earth Day, right? Are there any other environmental holidays they could tie the release into? Arbor Day maybe? When is it?

At this stage, I am wondering if it will get released anywhere. Seems like a vapourware product

I do expect the green 1520 to be actually the 1525.

If it has green side buttons I want it, if they are black I don't want; I'd rather have white

Also I think it's likely the green will be 1525

Edit: looks like they are black -.- still might as well wait and see 1525 improvements and colour variations

You can use a green marker to paint the buttons.
