I have send my Lumia 930 back to Nokia/Microsoft and it is no warranty. New screen will cost over 200 euro. According to an unofficial forum of the dutch vodafone it is a software issue. But Microsoft/arvato says it is because the phone is dropped.

My wife's 930 has the same problem, with excessive heat also being generated under the spot. Arvato also refused to repair it under warranty as they said it is a drop damage (which it clearly isn't in my opinion)

I will see what still can be reached over different support channels (social media, etc...)...

But for me personally this means I will never ever buy an expensive new flagship phone anymore. Either a used one cheaply or a budget phone.

Same thing I'm doing with Games since last year when all of my preordered Games have been a mess at launch.

Hm... there might something... I just wanted to fetch my wife's 930 from our local service center (after I got the call last week that Arvato has not repaired it under warranty).

Now my service center told me they have disputed this claim with Microsoft (because more people have exactly the same problem) and are awaiting an answer. Let's see what will happen.
