Group Text issues

I am having trouble with the Group Text option being "On" and others receiving my texts in one thread. This hasn't been a problem but started in recent weeks. Also, I am no longer getting App Update notices. My 620 is unlocked and I use Walmart Family Mobile, which uses T-Mobile's network. Any suggestions on these issues?

Have you tried a soft reset?

1. Switch your phone on, if possible, and disconnect the charger.
2. Press and hold the Power and Volume Down keys simultaneously until the phone vibrates. Release and the phone will restart.
