I have installed some apps in the SD card.Then i reset the phone.Didnt erase SD card.All the apps gone.But the SD card still holds some space.I think it is the apps.Cant see them or delete them.It is in the category of 'Others' in the Storage sense.How to delete them?

Format your card using pc. Then use it

I'd stick it in a card reader and have a look on your PC.I'm pretty sure u can connect the phone to ur USB port and look within the SD card colder in ur PC.I have a 16gb SD too with 1.28gb in other.I might have a look later now you've made me curious

Update: Yep can access it via USB. In my case the other data turned out to be an old android update file I forgot about.

If i format all my songs and videos will go..I was asking if there is any other way to delete just that other part...

Connect your card to a PC, if u use Windows, uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" in File Explorer, 1 or 2 unfamiliar hidden folder will show up, delete them.

Why don't you try this.
Insert sd card in your phone ,open storage sense and select install apps on sd card.then you will get a confirmation message to delete apps that are stored in your sd card
