The reason I ask is because I dropped my phone and cracked the screen but it is still usable and I am afraid I won't get another Icon. I am not ready to give up my Icon for anything else at this point and since they are discontinued I would like to know if there is a chance they still have Icons and no i cannot call because I would then have 60 days to turn in the device or they do not have to replace it.

I've used it to get a GNII replaced a while back. I did the same thing; dropped it and ruined my screen. You'll have to pay $50, but it is a whole lot cheaper than trying to buy a new phone.

Yes, they are supposed to replace it with an identical model. It'll probably be a returned and refurbished model, not a new one though.

I think they would have it. I replaced a Blackberry through them once and all went well, except there was a dead spot on the screen and I didn't complain about it.

Just got a replacement about 2 months ago. Unfortunately it has a screen color issue( top 1/2 of the screen is darker than the bottom) but I'm hesitant to send it back because its a crap shoot ill get one without any issues.

I dropped mines about a few weeks ago and got a replacement ICON through them. It came with 8.0 so I updated through the software recovery tool. It's nice to have a good lasting battery back. Had my other one since launch so it was nice getting a new(used) ICON.
