I have a couple of different types of NFC tags, NTAG203, which it can read and identify as the correct type, and NTAG215 which gets a noise from the reader but can't identify.
I can't seem to write tags on a few apps I've tried though, most recently WakDev's NFC Tools https://www.wakdev.com/en/apps/nfc-tools-pc-mac.html
It's not a big deal as I'm not sure whether I have much use for it on a tablet other than for unlocking, and there are plenty of other ways to do that.
