Has Anyone Reverted back to 8.1?

Arrrrgggghhhhh, rolled back, 20 mins later....Ye Gods it is so outdated. Simple things like settings in some kind of order. The start screen looks messy with the thick black borders etc... Still really good, responsive and easy to use, but 10 just feels more grown up, if you know what I mean. I'm gonna get arrested if I keep this flashing up!!!!!
Never flash in a public park. You should do your flashing in the privacy of your home.
Smart phone? Texting? Waait waait? what do you mean?
What do you mean, an African or European swallow?

Facebook......a place where people struggle to differentiate between 'real' friends and acquaintances LOL.

I hate the damn thing, my kids love it, but then, I'd rather go down the pub and interact with real people;)

Well, if you're in the Seattle area...
Gabe Aul will be at a certain bar at a certain time to meet Windows Insiders in just under 3 hours from the time of my post here.

Yeah, I prefer real people myself. I'm and Old Codger.

I love Seattle. I love Lopez (?) Island as well. It's been a while though. 1997 was the last time. Beautiful part of the world.

Let's hope Gabe gets hammered and spills the beans...

..fine ... except who uses text anymore? .. it's all Whatsapp and FB messenger these days :) - I hardly ever use SMS anymore - even for work, we use Slack to message

Well, lots of people still use text :-) even if nobody use text still there's a need of some kind of app on desktop that can sync text, contacts, music, videos to Windows 10 Mobile devices.

I have a test phone (Windows 10), but my main phone is a BLU WIN HD LTE which is still on
Windows 8.1. I feel Windows 10 still isn't ready for pushing to the masses. I had the SIM card
in the Windows 10 phone yesterday, had problems texting after the person responded back to
me, didn't get the input line. There were other times I wound up with a half screen, top half
looked like a Notification screen, with nothing typed in it, the other half the app that I tried to open.
I wasn't able to swipe the so called notification screen up so the bottom screen could be fully
shown.

I've rolled back. Lost some apps because I did it too soon after the latest build. I think the backup ran when only half of my apps were installed. O well. Also lost some text messages over the last couple weeks. Nothing I can't live without.

The only reason I rolled back is because, unfortunately, I'm stuck with IBM Connections for email, and for some reason Windows 10 mobile doesn't work, while Windows 10 does. I use the mail app on my surface pro 2 with no problems. The phone complains about the security policy.

I much prefer 10 over 8.1 even though it's not as snappy on the 920 and has a few quirks, but the Messaging + Skype app has a huge battery drain issue (at least, for some of us). Like, 20% per hour. I'm heavily considering going back to 8.1 just to reclaim my battery life, which was one of my favorite features about WP8/8.1 on the 920. Currently on 10586 after hard reset.

10586 update left my phone in a continuous reboot. Working on downgrading to 8.1 now where I will stay until I switch to iPhone or Android for my next device. Done with this Windows 10 Mobile debacle.

READ a little bit! That was a known bug. All you have to do is reset your device. If you can't deal with bugs, you shouldn't have put windows 10 preview on it.

WAKE UP, it's a warned iussue by Gabe himself. Don't blame Windows if you aren't able to do a little googling
I got your same iussue, resolved quickly thanks to Gabe blog

There was a known issue mentioned in the release notes if upgrading from 10581 where if you did a hard reset on 10581, then upgrading to 10586 would cause the infinite reboot loop.
