Have I killed my lumia 928?

So the touchscreen on my Nokia Lumia 928 stopped working like it sometimes does. I tried the soft reboot and the touchscreen still didn't work, so I rebooted it and rebooted it and rebooted it... Until now suddenly my phone won't even turn on (yes, it's charged).
What can I do to get my phone to work again?

Did you try holding volume up+power button for 15s?

Yes. I even took it to a Verizon store to see if they had any tricks and they couldn't get it to turn on either.

Just seems so strange that nothing will turn it on. Feels like rebooting it several times shouldn't have damaged it so badly.

Are you on Windows 8.1 or a Win 10 distribution?

You might want to try reflashing using the Windows Phone Recovery Tool. Search the forum for links. . .
