Have problem with Cortana

My Cortana in my lumia 930 can't hear me, I tried to use Bing's voice search but it still can't hear me

If you can record notes or speak to others via a phone call, there's nothing wrong with the hardware, so a (soft or hard) reset can work in this case.

If you can't, it's a hardware defect.

Those are the most likely scenarios in this case.
