Headphones for U.S. Lumia 920?

bought these to match my cyan phone. they are only $13 through amazon and sound comparable to my sennheiser cx200's (may have better bass actually). the only negative is that the wire material they use is very cheap so the wiring wrinkles pretty easily.

i looked into the purity buds but at $100, that's more than what i'm willing to pay for buds.

I bought the purity because i wanted to go the safer way, rather than being trying this and that and spending in cheap ones that doesn't work. Like win_splash said everything works with the purity, the controls, skipping songs, microphone, answering calls etc. Cheap ones works only for listening music but if someone calls you, you have to disconnect the headphone then connect it again when finish and you have to stop the song before answering cause they keep playing the song when you disconnect to answer. It's a real pain with the regular ones. As you can see in my previous comment i found the over the ear purity headphones at the price of the in ear ones. AT&T matched me the online price over the regular in store price. And if you had the money to buy a premium phone whether off contract or with contract (monthly payments with AT&T are expensive) you should have the money to buy nice headphones.

I sent an e-mail to Nokia USA Customer Care asking about the availability of the Nokia Purity In-Ear Headset in yellow (they're pictured on PurityByMonster.com), and this is the response I got:

"For questions regarding the availability of the accessories for your Nokia Lumia 920, please be informed that nothing has been announced as of the moment. However, we recommend that you visit our website (Cell Phones and Smartphones - Nokia - USA) or follow us on Twitter (@NokiaCareUS) for future announcements."

So pretty much no new information. Now I don't know if I should just buy the headset in white (available on Amazon) or hold out a while longer for the yellow.

does the in-line controls work ? can you pause songs/answer calls ?

I use the Nokia BH-505 Bluetooth headset. Great set and cheap on eBay and way better than the Motorola S-10 Awesome Sound!!!

My AKG K240 Studio I have been through a lot together, true workhorses with wonderful sound.

If you want inline controls on headphones for wp8, your best bet is to purchase the cheapest pair of purity on ears you can find; they come with a great control cable that you can use with other sets, assuming the other set has removable cables. Of course, the on ear puritys sound absolutely awful, so try to get them cheap.
