I use Photoshop with the standard type cover. I find no reason to have a wireless keyboard unless you need to edit in portrait orientation. For portrait, you pretty much have to go with wireless (which is why I have the Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard. You can definitely use the pen with the keyboard attached.
The screen can be oriented all the way from flat on the table to near 90 degrees. So you should be able to get any drawing angle while still using the keyboard.
