Considering picking up a new Windows Phone. Any recommendations?

If you are with Verizon, I highly recommend the ICON from Nokia. I just picked one up and am having all the fun I can and still remain legal. LOL

What is the budget like?
Less than $100 go for Lumia 520 or 521 new or a used Lumia 822
For $150 Groupon has the HTC 8X from Verzion which is unlocked for GSM
For $230 ShopHQ has the T-Mobile Lumia 925 which is a superb deal.

I think that list pretty much sums it up.

That said, im going to say the low end should be the Lumia 625. Cheap, great screen, awesome battery life and LTE.

Honestly, if it had 1gb of ram it would be nigh on perfect as a low end phone.

Otherwise wait two months or so and get something with wp 8.1!!!!

Great screen? Not really. The dpi is kinda disappointing.
Otherwise it's a good phone

Save some money, sell some stuff (if no job) and get the 1520, it'll be worth keeping for years ahead... I have it for almost two months now and I can't think of a better windows phone

Well it is a great screen - for the money!!!

I never thought a 800 x 400 res screen could look so clear - though that's down to the os and nokia's magic as much as anything. I had a HTC Touch Diamond 2 with, what i believe to be, the same res... Not so good.

Loved windows mobile 6.5 though! And that file browser!!!!! (good times

That said, there really does seem to be a phone for every budget.

And the lumia 525 is good, without the lte though, but it does have the 1gb ram.
