I have been lurking here for over a month, and how I think I will switch to WP 7.5. I know this is a welcoming page, but is the HTC Radar 4G a good buy?

HI! I think you should get the 8X or the 8S. it's coming to t-mobile and since wp8 is going to be launched in less than a month. I think you should wait for wp8

I'm not exactly loaded with money, college is expensive. I think any off-contract phone will be over $300. Wouldn't 7.8 bring some of the WP8 features to any phone I may get?

Well you can get the 8S. It's very cheap with decent specs on it.
