HELP, I upgraded to 10 from 8.1 on my laptop. How can I get my computer back?

HELP, I upgraded to 10 from 8.1 on my laptop.

For 2 days I was very happy, it ran fast and error free a major improvement from glitchy 8.1. Than everything suddenly went totally belly up. It blinked and the task bar disapeared, just gone, the windows icon totally inactive, NO programs, even trash can gone. The "Desktop" menu opened and I opened files and chose a saved webpage to open and managed to get Chrome open so could search and end up here. Now what do I do to get my computer back?

sounds like explorer.exe crashed or sharted itself lol. Launch taskmanager and see if you see explorer.exe in the list. If you do, kill it and then run command type explorer.exe OR you could also simply press and hold power button downtill it shuts off and then power up again
