[Help] MetroPcs tether to ps3

Alright so I have a ps3 not the fat but slim and I want to simply tether my Nokia Lumia 521 I got from metro pcs problem is it wont connect to internet it does obtain ip, because of windows app gap I dunno what to do because all the online same problems are solves with some android app.

I wanna be able to play minecraft on ps3 with friend

 

[switch side method]

1) go to settings
2) turn on internet sharing
3) connect the ps3 and input the code that is on the Lumia screen on internet sharing.

Can you confirm that another device, not you PS3, can connect to your phone and access the internet?

I have tried this on my 920 before and it doesn't work due to the network ability. The PS3 doesn't have the correct method to tether with it. I'll update this with more in depth info and correct facts.

UPDATE: Yes the reason behind this is due to adhoc. That's what Windows Phone 8 uses and it's not supported by the PS3. You can read more from a older thread.
