[Help] Twitter notifications stopped?

hey every one ..
my twitter notifications is stopped working nearly 3 days now! and the app removed from notifications setting by itself.
i removed the app and reinstall it but still the same problem, then i saw the recent reviews on win store so i can tell every one has the same issue.
i hope you have answers.

Good for you, guys, who have their Twitter apps "working" by now!

Unfortunately, mine isn't still working. Just tested it a few minutes ago.

You have to uninstall Twitter app, access your Twitter account from PC (it's not available via mobile.twitter) and revoke an access for Twitter app (Settings>Apps). Then you have to download Twitter app again, login, set notifications toggle to "ON" and voila - done.
Now "Turn on notifications" on any of your following's page to receive notif. from them. I'm sure it'll work.

Saw this in post #4, but then it goes further... that the notifications will stop working again eventually. Thanks for the info anyway; I'm willing to wait for a fix as of now... perhaps until my patience runs out before I try the suggested method.

Or... did you lose your contact synchronization in the People Hub (for linked contacts with Twitter accounts, especially those that were manually linked) during the process of performing the suggested method?

I was addressing those who didn't have to do anything.:wink:

Just check if you are running more than 20 apps in background in "Battery saver" app. Keep it under 20 or 20.
When you will reinstall it eventually update ur people hub with all your twitter contacts. If you want to see them in People hub, just go to People hub>settings>filter contact list & check mark "twitter" there, You'll see all you twitter contacts in people hub.
I didn't lose syncing of manually linked contacts. Once you will check mark "twitter" it'll do automatically

Did things go well?

The re-installation part went well. Haven't received a notification yet. Will update when a notification is received.

Update: Someone mentioned me in Twitter and I was notified through push notifications. So far looks like the method works. Will update if our when things go otherwise.

I was having the same issue, and none of the remedies posted helped. Like many others, notifications just started working again out of nowhere on 13 June. Now they've stopped once again - has this happened for anyone else?

Possibly relevant: I got an update pushed out last night, but don't know exactly what it was. Didn't appear to change OS build, but said something about a critical fix to address a shutdown issue or something. I think the push notifications stopped shortly after that, but I don't think it was immediately after.

Not working for me unfortunately. It doesn't even show up in the notifications+actions settings menu. I tried all the revoke access and reinstall stuff but it didn't work. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved soon.

Twitter notifications have started magically. And now twitter even appears on the notifications+actions menu. I wonder how...
