Help.! Xbox music and Mixradio not working

I have a Lumia 620 running Cyan and GDR1. From the last two days, I am unable to play anything on either Xbox music or mix radio.
In Xbox, it says "the file couldn't be opened" and the app crashes.
In mix radio, when I select the song, it keeps loading forever and doesn't play.
I have tried everything (except a hard reset) and yet no use.
The only way I can play music is through the app quick play which works fine, but doesn't have some features in the free version.
Does anyone have any solution?

Did you remove your sd card or something? If you have your music in sd card, try inserting it again

I do have all my music in my SD card. I took it out, and re inserted it. After this, I did a soft reset, and still both apps don't play

Did you remove the SD card from the system before taking it out? If not, it may have corrupted some files. Delete all music on it and put it back on. This could(!) possibly solve your issue.

I deleted all music, but now I can't copy it back.
And, now the photos hub is crashing a lot.
Looks like I need to do a reset soon.

when did u get the GDR1 update?? I am from india too...I have a 520 and my friend has a 630...we both are on 8.1 only

I doubt it. I bet your photos are stored on the sd card too, right? If so, and I was right about you ejecting the card without properly removing it from the system beforehand, format it and copy everything all over again. You can format it directly from storage sense. I'm quite convinced this'll fix your issue. And it's definitely worth a try. A lot less painful than hard resetting.

You're welcome. Glad you got it resolved. Now don't forget to remove the sd card from the OS in future, before you eject it.
