"Hey Cortana" going off too much?

Since denim I've had several spontaneous Cortana activations. I'm wondering if she's just mishearing things? Although nothing like hey Cortana was even said. My apple friends can't even use words like Sirius or serious around their phones. Serious seem to be spoken more than you'd think.

No issues here, been pleased on how well she has been working for me

No misfires over here, though I suspect the case I use might cover the speaker a bit.

It could be something else I'm getting, like pocket Cortanaing.

I think it's actually my cracked screen. If the phone gets exposed to moisture, like sweat, it can register false touches.
