It just dawned on me at work today for an excellent use for the HoloLens, Air Traffic Controllers!

They are dealing with 3 dimensional issues, but on 2D screens. Wouldn't it be cool if they had a cubical area to stand, sit in and visualize the air traffic space they are responsible for. They could see the altitude and projected vectors of the aircraft in real time. They could move around in their cubical area to get a better spatial relations and relay what the aircraft should be doing.

Or just a circular desk with a lazy susan that represented their area of control. They could spin the lazy susan to re-orientate to get a better view.

Just throwing out ideas.

It's a great idea. I'm in the USAF and there are alot of jobs that could use it. Especially Pilots and controllers. Tactically and ATC

Sounds distracting more than anything to be honest. Don't think I'd want it in the cockpit or as a controller.
