I know that 850 was cancelled, but will that mean no midranger from ms this year? (if we dont count the non cancelled 650), or they maybe just didnt like it and wanted to change it or something
Welcome to the all-new Windows Central Forums! - We're still moving some things around, so you may see a few quirks here and there, but we're working on getting things fully completed as soon as possible. For now, take a look around, and if you run into any major issues, please let us know in this thread!
If the 850 would be anything like the 830 I have now, they can trash it. This thing is a piece of junk.
Is that an opinion formed from how the phone inherently is or from how your one device performed?
I don't know about you guys but the alleged 850 specs didn't seem like much of a step up.
Yeah, the only part they stepped up in was the processor (SD400 to SD610), but wished they stepped up in the resolution, too (1080p since the flagships are higher). Ah well.
Well, what I hope is the business line of Lumias is the 850 and 750IMO there will be:
- 950/950XL (Flagship)
- One or two versions of Surface phone (business)
- 650 and maybe 650XL (value)
And there you have the 5-6 releases and segments mentioned by Nadella.
Maybe if you want a mid-ranger you'll have to go with another OEM (if they start producing Windows phones).
I'd be here for another affordable upper mid-range phone with a better CPU and maybe a slightly better camera. The 640 and 640 XL aren't enough for me. LOL :amaze:
