Hotstar needs flash and windows does not have flash support,that's why

And also starsports app plays the IPL match live stream from Hotstar app, the reason might be they are not interested in making app for WP or they don't have wp developers or they might be making the app right now

The app was released and pulled back from the store. I downloaded it during world cup and as it was not good, I uninstalled.
