How can I assign a ringtone for unknown callers

I want to know if there is a way to assign a different ringtone for incoming calls from unknown callers on the Lumia 640.

You simply can't. One thing you can do is, assign a common custom ringtone to all your contacts one-by-one and chose a different general tone for the Phone app in Settings > System > Notifications and actions > Phone > Notification sound. That's the only way.

I wish there is an option for "Only receive call from Contact List". All others -> VoiceMail, or better yet ->/dev/null.

Haha, yeah, well there is Quiet Hours, where you can configure it where ONLY people on a list that you set up can get through. Just leave it on all the time, and assign everyone in your contacts to your inner circle list.

Of course, if you do that, then when the lawyer of an uncle you didn't know you had calls to tell you that you've inherited 100 million dollars, you'll miss the call and the money will go to your cousin. Bummer. I feel bad for ya.
